Plant and Logistics B.V. has undertaken a substantial investment exceeding $330 million in our premier petroleum products storage facility situated in Rotterdam. Our cutting-edge Mega Oil City features a tank farm with an impressive capacity of 300 million liters, 30 loading gantries, and a trailer park capable of hosting 400 trucks. As a part of our forward-looking growth strategy, we are actively engaged in expanding the tank farm's storage capacity to a remarkable 1.2 billion liters in the imminent future.
In addition to our existing infrastructure and services, we have introduced a fundamental fuel management system and scheduled truck loading processes to enhance operational efficiency, streamline product supply chains, and ensure a well-organized operation
Our Solutions and Benefits
Plant and Logistics B.V. employs subterranean transfer pipelines that are centrally managed remotely, linking the tanks to the pumps that feed the long-distance pipelines from the tanker pier. This infrastructure facilitates the movement of various grades of crude oil within different sections of the tank farm, enabling the customization of crude oil qualities to meet specific requirements. Additionally, the tanks allow for the transfer of crude oil to and from the caves.
Our extensive geographical coverage, combined with the capacity of our terminals, positions us to handle substantial volumes of oil products, consolidate bulk for further transshipment, blend oils to meet market demands, provide strategic storage near major markets, and cater to local downstream markets.
